Influence of Hydration – Dehydration Processes
on Structure and Porosity of the Detemplated Silica Fibres

The influence of the conditions of elimination of template (calcination, extraction by solvents) and the processes of hydration-dehydration on hexagonal structure and porosity of detemplated fibers was in- vestigated. It is shown that the realization of the hydration-dehydration cycle results in the decrease of the porosity of the fibers, which is especially essential in the detemplation of fibers by the extraction of surfactant by solvents (ethanol, acetic acid).
